Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data Pagelatix collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We keep collection to the minimum needed to reply to you.

Short answer

Pagelatix acts as the controller of the personal information covered by this notice. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@pagelatix.online. We collect what you send us through the contact form or by email, use it only to reply and to provide services you ask for, and do not sell or share it for advertising.

Who we are

Pagelatix acts as the controller of the personal information covered by this notice. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@pagelatix.online.

What we collect

When you use the contact form

Your name, email address, website address (optional) and your message. The form also sets a session cookie so it can check that a submission is genuine; the cookie notice describes it.

When you email us

Your email address, name and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Limited technical records

To stop the form being abused, a short log keeps two things for each attempt: a keyed hash made from your IP address, and when the attempt happened. Without the key, nobody can realistically work back from that value to your address. These records are cleared within about a day of being made. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not collect

This site does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking, and it does not set tracking cookies. The planner tool runs in your browser and sends nothing to us.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message and discuss your request.
  • To provide services you ask for, including quotes and project communication.
  • To protect the contact form against spam and misuse.
  • To keep the business records the law expects of us.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Messages that fail to send

When sending fails, your words reappear in the form on the same page for another try. Nothing you wrote is saved in your session or on the server.

Who processes it

Your message is delivered by email through our email provider and stored in our mailbox. Our hosting provider stores the website and its server logs. If you become a client, project information may be shared with tools needed to deliver the work, which we will tell you about at the time. We can tell you which countries hold your data if you ask.

Retention periods

  • Messages that never turn into a project: deleted within 24 months.
  • Client project records: for as long as needed for the work and for business record keeping.
  • Form abuse records: cleared within about a day.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it or delete it, by emailing hello@pagelatix.online. Before acting on a request we may check that it really comes from you, and we answer as promptly as we reasonably can.

Several US states, including California, give residents specific privacy rights. California's law applies to businesses that meet certain thresholds, such as annual gross revenue above $26,625,000 from January 1, 2025 [1]. Even where no such law covers Pagelatix, we treat reasonable access, correction and deletion requests the same way.

Children

Pagelatix is written for business owners and their teams. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, the form includes protections against forged and automated submissions, and access to our mailbox is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords or other sensitive information through the form or by email.

Changes to this notice

Any change to our data practices will appear here first, with a new date under the heading.
