Short answer
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. We test with a keyboard, check color contrast for text, controls and focus outlines, and check layouts at narrow widths. If you find a barrier, email hello@pagelatix.online and we will work to fix it.
Our target
The standard we work toward is Level AA of WCAG 2.2, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C. We have not had the site formally audited by a third party, so we describe what we have done rather than claim full conformance.
What we have checked
- Keyboard use: every link, button and form control can be reached and used with a keyboard, and a visible focus outline shows where you are.
- Skip link: a "Skip to content" link appears at the top of each page when you press Tab.
- Contrast: we checked the contrast of body text, links, buttons, form borders and focus outlines against their backgrounds, aiming for at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for outlines and control borders.
- Structure: each page has one main heading, headings follow a logical order, and landmark regions mark the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Forms: every field has a visible label, hints and error messages are linked to their fields, and errors are announced when the form is sent.
- Layout: pages reflow at narrow widths down to 320 pixels without sideways scrolling, and tables turn into labeled cards on small screens.
- Targets: every button, control and menu link measures 24 pixels or more in each direction.
- Motion: nothing on the site plays or animates by itself, and hover transitions switch off when your device requests reduced motion.
- Without JavaScript: the navigation and all content remain available; the planner explains how to answer its questions by email instead.
Known limits
- The decorative dashboard and website mockups on the home and examples pages are hidden from screen readers, because their sample numbers are illustrations rather than information. The surrounding text describes what they show.
- Inline citation numbers in guides are small links. They meet the minimum target size, but may still be fiddly on touch screens; the full source list at the end of each guide is easier to use.
- The contact form's security check expires after two hours. If that happens, your text is kept and you can send it again.
Speed and accessibility
Fast, light pages help people using older devices, slower connections and assistive technologies. The same habits that improve Core Web Vitals, such as giving images dimensions so layouts do not shift [1], also make pages easier to follow for everyone.
