Website Speed Project Planner
Answer twelve short questions and the planner builds a plain text brief describing your site, what feels slow and what needs to keep working. It runs entirely in your browser: nothing is sent to Pagelatix or anyone else.
The planner needs JavaScript to build the file. Without it, you can copy the twelve questions below into an email and answer them there.
Before you start
Two free tools give you most of what the planner asks about. PageSpeed Insights shows field data from real Chrome users for the previous 28 days, alongside a lab test from a simulated load [1]. Search Console's Core Web Vitals report groups your URLs by experience and shows mobile and desktop separately [2]. If neither shows any field data, that is normal for smaller sites; just choose "No data shown".
For the "what feels slow" question, describe what you see rather than a score: "the menu takes a second to open on my phone", or "the page jumps when the banner appears". Those descriptions often point straight to the right metric.
What to do with the brief
Keep it with your notes, send it to your own developer, or paste it into an email to hello@pagelatix.online if you would like a first review from us. Either way, it saves a round of questions and helps whoever reads it focus on the pages and problems that matter to you.
If you want to understand the terms in the brief first, start with Core Web Vitals explained.
